The 2015 HOME OF THE YEAR award winner my former professor and owner of Brillhart Architecture asked me to give him a planting design of garden. By this point his villa had been build and there were existing trees on the site. I provided him with a new plant palette of herbaceous plants, mid sized shrubs and accent trees. The layout was done considering the light and shade condition of the site and the views that can be enhanced from the interior.
