RESIDENCE BRILLHART GARDEN

Le lauréat du prix HOME OF THE YEAR 2015, mon ancien professeur et propriétaire de Brillhart Architecture, m'a demandé de lui proposer un aménagement paysager pour son jardin. À ce stade, sa villa était déjà construite et il y avait des arbres sur le site. Je lui ai proposé une nouvelle palette de plantes herbacées, d'arbustes de taille moyenne et d'arbres d'accent. Le plan d'aménagement a été réalisé en tenant compte des conditions d'ensoleillement et d'ombrage du site et des vues qui peuvent être mises en valeur depuis l'intérieur. Dans le cadre de ce projet, j'ai exploré la conception d'un jardin à partir de plantes tropicales et composé leur disposition à partir des principaux espaces de détente et des chambres de la villa.

The 2015 HOME OF THE YEAR award winner, my former professor and owner of Brillhart Architecture, asked me to give him a planting design for his garden. By this point, his villa had been built, and there were existing trees on the site. I provided him with a new plant palette of herbaceous plants, mid sized shrubs, and accent trees. The planting design was done considering the light and shade conditions of the site and the views that can be enhanced from the interior. In this project I explored designing a garden using tropical plants and composing their layout from the main seating and bedroom areas of the villa.
